f(x) is a girl group from Seoul, South Korea created by SM Entertainment in 2009. A multi-national group, the quintent consists of Korean members Sulli, Luna, Krystal (Korean American); with two Chinese members Amber (Chinese American) and Victoria, the leader. I do see a female SHINee in them, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. f(x) showcases a lot of potential.
The group’s first single “Lachata” was digitally released on September 1, followed by a 40-second teaser of their music video uploaded to YouTube. The music video was released the next day along with the group’s first performance of “Lachata” in a showcase held at Samseong-dong Fashion Center, in which the event was hosted by Leeteuk and Sunny. The group debuted on MBC’s music show Show! Music Core on September 5, 2009.
